The core purpose of seed pellet technology is to improve the physical properties of seeds, facilitate mechanized sowing, and provide necessary protection and nutritional support for seed germination and seedling growth. Ensuring the germination rate of seeds is the primary prerequisite for the research and application of pellet technology.

From the perspective of pellet material, the pellet powder we chose has high water solubility and high disintegration properties, which will not restrict seed germination. It is only through the rotation of the machine to physically divide and wrap the seeds, making the shape of the seeds regular and uniform, which is convenient for sowing.

In terms of the control of the pellet process, advanced production equipment and strict quality control systems ensure the seed germination rate. During the production process, the particle size, hardness and density of the pellets are precisely controlled to prevent the seeds from being unable to break through the shell when germinating due to overly thick or hard pellets, or to avoid affecting the water absorption and air permeability of the seeds in the soil due to uneven density.

A large number of scientific experiments have fully proved the safety of seed pellet on the germination rate. Taking vegetable seeds as an example, by conducting a comparative experiment on the germination rates of tomato, cucumber, and pepper seeds that underwent pellet treatment and those that did not, it was found that under suitable environmental conditions, there was no significant difference in the germination rates between the two groups. Some pellet seeds, due to obtaining better nutrition and protection, even showed an increase in germination potential.
